1. Download the latest personal version and log in

Both the master and controlled devices are installed with the latest version of the Awesun Personal Edition. ( Click to download ) To use the edge change control function, you need to update the personal version to V15.8.1 and above

Main control terminal

(1) Enter the identification code of the controlled terminal equipment in the [Remote Assistance]-> [Remote Control Equipment] column at the main control terminal;

(2) If the remote control is successful, click " Interactive " in the remote control menu bar, and select function; ! * * Note: * * The edge change control function requires the purchase of melon seeds and above services ( see details ) (3) Set the authority to the remote control machine of the controlled end, and click after confirming that it is correct;

(4) Waiting for the accused end to accept the invitation to switch edge control;

Controlled end

(5) After the controlled end clicks to accept the invitation, the remote control identity will be converted immediately, and the original main control end will be converted into the controlled end.

The controlled end can directly initiate a request for control right by clicking the icon in the remote control interface in the lower right corner.

3. Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Can the main control device successfully initiate edge change control if it has set local restrictions such as IP black and white lists? The edge change control will not be affected by the local restriction. According to the remote control intention of the master control, the master control device can successfully initiate the edge change control even if the local restriction is set. Native limitations include: (1) the machine turned on two-factor authentication access (2) "Allow remote assistance to this machine" is unchecked on this machine, and remote local machine with identification code is not supported. (3) This machine has set up a blacklist of remote access IP addresses, and the other IP address is in the blacklist (4) The machine has set a do not disturb period that does not support remote control, and the time to invite the other party is within this period of time. (5) This machine has hacked the other party's account number/equipment before.

Q2: Can the edge change control succeed if the accused end does not log in to the account? Awesun remote control needs to log in to the Aweray account. The edge change function is to switch the accused identity to the master control. Therefore, if the accused does not log in to the account, the edge change fails.

Q3: After purchasing the corresponding service, why didn't you see the entrance of the edge changing function? Generally, the client version is used to check whether the client meets the following conditions: (1) The main control and controlled Awesun are Awesun personal version V15.8.1 and above (2) Whether the main control system and the controlled system are Windows (currently only Windows update, MacOS and Linux are still under development) (3) Whether the current remote control is identification code remote control, only identification code remote control supports side change control

Q4: Does APP Remote Control or Remote Control APP Support Edge Changing? Not supported for the time being, because the current APP is separated from the main control end and the controlled end.

Q5: Open voice call/whiteboard/text chat during remote control. Will these be interrupted after the edge change control is successful? After the edge change is successful, the last remote control voice call/whiteboard/text chat will be interrupted.
