How to Remote Files on Computer

Awesun Personal Edition for Windows has a remote file feature that makes it easy to transfer files to remote devices. There are three methods of operation:
(1) Transfer files when remote desktop
(2) Transfer via [Remote File] independent function
(3) Transfer files via FTP
1. Transfer files when remote desktop
When the control terminal and the controlled terminal are connected to the remote desktop connection, the file is transferred through the clipboard and drag method.
1.1 Clipboard
Clipboard transfer file operation methods are:
- ① Use Ctrl C and Ctrl V shortcut keys to transfer files to each other on both devices * *
② Use the copy and paste functions of the right mouse button to transfer files between the main and the two devices
(1) Shortcut Key Copy and Paste
The following is an example of transferring files from the control end to the controlled end:
① Select the file to be transferred at the control terminal and copy it by using the shortcut key [Ctrl C]
② In the desktop or designated folder on the controlled device, use the shortcut key * * [Ctrl V] * * to paste the file
(2) Right mouse button copy and paste
The following is an example of transferring files from the control end to the controlled end:
① Select the file to be transferred on the control device, * * Press and hold the right button to select "Copy" * *
② Then, on the controlled device, select "Paste" with the right mouse button**
1.2 Drag and Drop
When establishing a remote desktop connection between the control terminal and the controlled terminal, select the file to be transferred and drag it to the screen of the target device.

2. Transfer via Remote File
2.1 Function Description
Independent [Remote File] function supports mutual transfer of files between devices of both parties. After the connection is successful, the desktop directories of the local and remote computers are opened by default.
2.2 operation steps
(1) The control terminal finds the device that needs to transfer files remotely in [Device List], and selects [Remote File] in the function list on the right side of the software.
(2) After verifying the Windows account password or access password of the remote host, enter the remote file transmission window. As shown in the following figure, the left side of the window is the local host, and the right side is the remote host. Both hosts can transfer files to each other.
The following shortcut actions are supported:
a) You can select a single file/folder or use the CTRL key to select multiple files/folders for transfer.
B) after selecting the file, it supports dragging the file with the mouse.
c) Right-click the corresponding file to select the "Transfer" command, or click the "Transfer" button above the file transfer window after selecting the file.
d) Support "cancel" and "pause" operations during file transfer
The following figure demonstrates the transmission of files from the control end to the controlled end equipment as an example:

a) Locate the file to be transferred in "Local Host" on the left

3. Transfer files via FTP
3.1 Function Description
This function is to map the shared folder of the control device to the controlled device for access. After mapping, the controlled device can be used directly like opening the local disk.
The following are considerations for using this feature:
(1) The control end and the controlled end equipment shall be equipped with Awesun personal version for Windows;
(2) When the controlled end is a user of the free version of the service and can establish a P2P channel connection, this function can be used, otherwise it cannot be used;
(3) When the accused end is a paid user, you can enjoy this function.
