SunLogin Remote Application
The function of SunLogin remote application helps you access server applications such as OA service, website, FTP service, remote control on computers, router, video monitoring of the company or the home, through the Intranet IP address plus forwarded port number. Port mapping is not required. The function is very powerful. The following existing cases introduce SunLogin remote application.
Application 1: OA service
Situation: The Intranet IP address of the OA server is 192.168.1.100 and the port number is 8000. On LAN, you can access the OA service via http://192.168.1.100:8000, as shown in Figure 1.
However, port mapping fails due to the restrictions of the network environment. Users on the external network cannot access to the OA service.
The use of SunLogin remote application.
Enter the user interface of remote application, and add OA services applications.Set IP address to the Intranet IP address of the OA server 192.168.1.100 (you must not enter 127.0.0.1), and set port number to the default number 80 of the HTTP service. The browser supports enabling the HTTP service. (If the browser does not support your application directly, do not click this setting, for example, Microsoft Remote Service.)
Save the settings and click the link directly in the application list, as shown in Figure 2.
Alternatively, access the OA service via the forwarding address http://127.0.0.1:3864. Figure 3 shows the successful access.
On the LAN of the visiting host, if other computers also need to access the OA service on the external network, how to do? Enter http://127.0.0.1:3864 directly? This does not work. Then click the Share button followed by the application list? This will cause share cancelling, as shown in Figure 4.
The correct way is that set the local LAN IP address to 127.0.0.1. For example, the Intranet IP address of the local host is 192.168.1.88, then access the service via the address http://192.168.1.88:3962, as shown in Figure 5.
If you cancel sharing, you will fail to access the service via the address http://192.168.1.88:3967, as shown in Figure 6
Application 2: WEB service
Situation: SunLogin remote client in the latest version has been installed on the host where WEB server is located. You have logged in to the host successfully. A website is set up through IIS. The Intranet IP address of the website server is 192.168.1.100 and the port number is 80. On LAN, you can access the website via http://192.168.1.100. However, port mapping fails due to the restrictions of the network environment.
The use of SunLogin remote application
The implementation way of the WEB service is similar to that of the OA service.
Application 3: FTP service
Situation: SunLogin remote client in the latest version has been installed on the host where FTP server is located. You have logged in to the host successfully. FTP service is set up through SERVER 2003. You can access the FTP service via ftp://192.168.1.88, as shown in Figure 7.
Add an FTP application through SunLogin remote application: set the IP address and port number to 21, enable Support browser, and select FTP, as shown in Figure 8.
Save the application. Then the address after port forwarding is ftp://127.0.0.1:1584, as shown in Figure 9.
Click the link or enter ftp://127.0.0.1:1584 to access the FTP service. The access test is successful, as shown in Figure 10.
Application 4: Remote control on computer
Situation: On the LAN where SunLogin remote clients are located, one client is enabled with WINDOWS Remote Desktop Services. You can access the Remote Desktop service of this client through SunLogin remote application.
irstly, on this client, right-click My Computer and choose Properties > Remote, select Enable Remote Desktop on the Remote tab page, as shown in Figure 11.
Secondly, enter the remote application page of SunLogin remote management console, set the remote application as follows: Set the application name to Microsoft Remote Terminal Services.Set the IP address to 192.168.1.100. Set the port number to the default port of Remote Desktop 3389. Deselect Support Browser because the Remote Desktop does not support access through browser address bar, as shown in Figure 12.
After the application is successfully added, the system generates an address after port forwarding 127.0.0.1:2331. On the host, choose Start > Run, and enter MSTSC, as shown in Figure 13.
Open the tool for connecting to Remote Desktop, and enter the address 127.0.0.1:2331 after port forwarding. Then the client can be connected to the host, as shown in Figure 14
Access is successful, as shown in Figure 15.
This function is very practical. Compared with the remote desktop through an ordinary router, this function has two special advantages:
1 .On a LAN, as long as there is one computer to login to SunLogin remote client, all hosts on the LAN can be controled by setting port forwarding through remote application.
2.In the way of remote desktop through an ordinary router, if you want to remote control hosts, you must perform port mapping in the router. However, port number 3389 cannot be mapped to multiple hosts at the same time. In this case, you need to change the default port number 3389 in the host registry. While in SunLogin remote application mode, remote desktop can be implemented for all hosts without changing the default port number 3389.
Application 5: Remote management of router
Situation: Among SunLogin remote clients, one router need to be remotely managed. Its IP address is 192.168.1.1. Set the remote application as follows, as shown in Figure 16.
After the remote application is added, access the router via the address after port forwarding or directly click the link, as shown in Figure 17.
The login management page of the router is displayed, as shown in Figure 18.
Application 6: Video monitoring
Situation: On the LAN of remote clients, the IP address of a video is 192.168.1.28, and the default port number is 80. Set the remote application of the video, as shown in Figure 19.
After the application is successfully added, the system generates an address after port forwarding 127.0.0.1:1938, as shown in Figure 20.
Enter the address after port forwarding http://127.0.0.1:2469 to implement remote video monitoring, as shown in Figure 21 and Figure 22.
The above applications are typical. SunLogin remote application can be widely applied to many situations.
